Day 40 The Reluctant Dragon play in Hyannis MA

The  Barnstable Summer Family Theater will be presenting the musical  play The Reluctant Dragon over the next few weeks.   The Reluctant Dragon is taken from the story by Kenneth Gramm with a modern twist. In the original story, the Dragon wanted to be a poet and refused to fight. In this  version the Dragon wants to break into “Show-Biz,” which leads to some very humorous adventures.  It is a great play and musical for kids of all ages to enjoy!

The Reluctant Dragon play  opens on July 7th with shows on July 8, 12-15 and 19 – 22. All performances will be held in the Barnstable High School Performing Arts Center located at 744 west Main Street, Hyannis. All shows start at 7pm and all tickets are 10 dollars.
