Ruggie’s Breakfast and Lunch in Harwich MA

Ruggie’s Breakfast and Lunch restaurant is  open to eat   eat in Harwich MA.  It has been open around 18 months, however it is becoming a fast local favorite. It  has a warm and inviting atmosphere inside the restaurant.   They are  open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week year round  from 6am-2pm.  Breakfast is served all day long and they are opened year round.

The food is always good  – omelettes, caribbean waffles, apple crisp french toast, and many more. They do have Melting pot casserole breakfasts are themed-Polish, Italian, German, Irish and Mexican! All sound very good different type of sauages and melted cheese.  You are not watching your calories with those!

If you are super hungry you could try the Duke breakfast challenge which includes 2 waffles,  6 eggs,  hashbrowns, pancakes , sausages, bacon, sausage patties and country fried chicken. If you eat all of that you within 30 minutes , you will get your meal free plus a Ruggie’s T-shirt. Better bring your A game appetite on that one.    Only a few have finished!  Don’t  disrespect the DUKE!

 

Prices are good and you won’t feel broke after leaving Ruggies!

Awesome food..Try the Duke challenge its really good even if you don’t eat it all. The chicken,sausage and gravy are really good. Great job guys keep the good food coming. Oh and I can say I tried the Duke but did not succeed good luck to all who try it after it is delicious.

Food Was amazing! Got the strawberry pancakes and home fries. Definitely will be going back!

I almost hate to be honest. ..but this is my favorite breakfast (and now lunch!) place. It can be crowded, but is worth the wait.
The coffee is awesome. Not a fan of French roast, so their brew is nicely done, and rich. Real coffee.
The wait staff is amazing…friendly, fast and efficient. And oh baby, the food. Breakfast open til two, plus lunch after eleven. They have one of those menus where you are torn between two or three choices, I promise.
The sausage is tasty, lean and homemade. No odd chewy bits…just good stuff! The hotcakes are lovely. There is even chicken and waffles, and all manner of fine things. Including the Duke. (Looks scary good, but I lack the intestinal fortitude.
Lunch is just fine eating, with basic fare studded with aoli and homemade mustards and sauces. Their burgers are just sinful.
In short, a great place, now a regular stop for me and my family

We love this place ..the staff is Wonderful the food is great ,and the price is perfect..We have been there three times this week ..

They are always so nice every time we go there. They accommodate my mother that has dietary restrictions. The food is always good and comforting. The portions are perfect for price. It’s our must go place for every visit.
