Day 162 Cranberry Harvest Celebration 2012 Columbus Day weekend Wareham MA
The 9th Annual Cranberry Harvest Celebration, sponsored by the A.D. Makepeace Company and the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers’ Association will be held on Columbus Day weekend Saturday October 6th and Sunday October 7th 2012, from 10:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
This fun family event features juried crafters, activities for children, animal shows, cooking demonstrations, food vendors, pony and wagon rides, and much more. The highlight of the day is an opportunity to witness a working cranberry bog.
Admission: $5, Seniors $3, Children under 7 under are free

(parking and transportation for guests with special needs is available, as well as bus and RV parking)

The Suspenders Juggling Troupe 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. each day
Eyes on Owls Shows at Frogfoot 11, 1 and 3 each day.
Ridge Valley Stables Pony Rides 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day.
Moonwalk Enterprises 10-4 each day w/ set up on 10/7 before 7 p.m.
Cooking Demonstrations: Both days from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday: Students and Chefs from Johnson and Wales University
Sunday: Students and Chefs from Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational School
At Frogfoog Bog
Eyes on Owls Shows at 11, 1 and 3 each day.
Bluegrass on the Bog: Hour-long shows start at 10 a.m., noon, and 1 p.m.
Saturday: No Spare Parts

National Marine Life Center: NMLC’s booth is the place to learn about Dolphins, Seals, Turtles and Whales! We’ll have specimens to view and marine animal crafts for kids to make.
South Shore Community Action Council: Bring your children to our booth and learn about healthy snacking, have some coloring fun and create a small pumpkin planter!
Child & Family Services: Visit us for PUMPKIN Painting!
Onset Youth Center: Visit us and learn about the Onset Youth Center! We’ll be making balloon animals and have fun games for kids!

Wareham Boys & Girls Club: Boys & Girls Club of Wareham will host FREE fun arts & craft project for kids related to marine life. Support youth t-shirts for sale!
