Here is the buzz on  Fanizzi’s By the Sea

It feels like you’re floating inside this seafooder that juts out over Provincetown Bay, itself the best decor there is – whether you come for the excellent brunch on a sunny Sunday morning, or arrive during a storm, when you’ll see the waves swarm around the room – adding a bit of excitement to the reliable, well-balanced Italian and American style dishes and always pleasant service

We made a reservation for a Friday night. We were seated inside, in their room that overlooks the harbor, with a great view because of the wall-to-wall windows. We both ordered seafood pasta dishes. My scallops piccata required just a touch of salt to be perfect; the scallops really were perfectly done and the pasta had absorbed the olive oil. The chardonnay and veltliner I ordered were excellent. I think it’s just amazing to see a veltliner varietal outside of a winery!

Off the beaten path but an unbelievable spot! Amazing views of the water and great service. And the food was unbelievable. Best meal I had on the Cape! So glad to find this hidden gem! If you aren’t eating here at least once on your Ptown vacation, you are missing out!!!

Food was great with a super friendly staff. Had to cut dinner short, mosquitoes were a bit much. This place has a killer clam chowder, if you do come here that is the first thing you should get. I never would of thought to put bacon in clam chowder, but it works. The fried clam bellies were spot on too.

Best place to eat in P Town by far . Bravo for all you have done during these COVID times. We have been dining here for years and will continue as long as you are here. People who appreciate fine food and impeccable service will have no complaints here! Thanks Paul F . See you one night soon.
The outdoor dining is great, tables and all!

Never disappoints. Diverse menu for all pallets. We came back within a week of our last dinner. Always attentive service, one in our party thoroughly loves the curry salad and I go for their best seller – their mustard encrusted cod dish. Then inhaled the brownie Sunday, freshly baked and delicious. As always, great bay views!

Fanizzi’s it was for dinner on Saturday. We were already in Hyannis, so drove to Provincetown on a beautiful day. Started out at Racepoint Beach where the ocean was too rough but we spotted seals. Great time.
Around 5:15 we left for Fanizzi”s. Made a 6pm reservation and we arrived just in time. Lucked out with on-street parking.
We were greeted right away and shown to our table. Perfect views of the water. Started with a round of Manhattans. Cran seltzer for the kid. Then, for starters, their Zucchini Sticks with a Horseradish Dijon sauce for dipping.
For entrees, Braised Short Rib for my wife  and, Cod Piccata for me. I was not too hungry and knew that I would be helping my wife plate . Not our kiddo, who had Cheese Ravioli and loved it.
The cod was melt in your mouth, and short rib was perfectly tender. It was amazing food and a wonderful time spent. Dessert was tiramisu and, so much, that we took some home. Our waitress was outstanding.

My mini Vacation took me to Provincetown today, wanted to try Fanizzi’s Restaurant by the Sea before the crowds came! I was immediately greeted and welcomed by the hostess, since I was alone ( my pup was waiting in the car ) I chose a seat at the bar with a wonderful view of the harbor!
I selected the Mussels appetizer in white wine, garlic herbs & tomatoes, it was served with crostini and it was wonderful 😋
My server was very attentive and friendly!
I wanted to get take out to bring back to our cottage for dinner and decided on the Eggplant Parm , great price 👍
The food , service and views are worth the trip, my Parm is also excellent
