Chatham Squire Restaurant & Bar in Chatham MA

Chatham Squires Restaurant and Bar  is a   family restaurant with a American cuisine menu and an entertaining cast that includes both the crew and the customers.   One side of this landmark (since 1968) is an old-fashioned restaurant complete with high-backed booths and red carpeting. The other side features a huge bar and room to mingle and drink.  The food is good on either side!

“Are you heading to Chatham soon?

We’ve put together a list of some of the things to do, places to visit, and where to eat!”

Steak, seafood and chowder are staples in the dining area  , while lighter fare is the norm at the bar, where the focus is more on drinking. They also have a raw bar with clams, oysters and shrimp.

Some of the menu favorites include Chatham Cioppino Traditional stew with a local flavor featuring clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops and grilled fish.  Or  TOMATO BASIL MUSSELS- Fresh Atlantic mussels sautéed with garlic shallots; diced Roma tomatoes and leeks; finished in a tomato basil cream sauce; served over linguini..

A Must go to place when in Cape Cod. The Chowder is fantastic and so is the service. A must go to bar – homey and cheerful – like being on Cheers! Fun, iconic and friendly – and the food is very Cape Cod. A must Place to visit.

We were in Chatham for 6 days and went to the Squire 3 times! Oysters, mussels, soups, drinks all were great. The service and fun atmosphere, as well as outside dining all added to a great couple of visits. Will go back for sure!!

The Squire is a great place and somewhere we’ve visited each time we visit Chatham. The food is great especially the seafood carbonara and they have a great beer selection. It’s no frills but it’s a pub, what do you expect? We look forward to coming back

Very crowded but a great friendly atmosphere – we ended up sitting in the restaurant one afternoon – not a seat available in the casual pub side – food was delicious, waitress was fun and service was great! Like the offering of drafts and the fact they have Guinness on tap! The food was hot and delicious.

We had lunch at the Chatham Squire Tavern. Lots of kitsch to keep you entertained. Enjoyed our meals. Attentive service. Restaurant offers indoor and patio table service too.

Cape Cod restaurants come  but the Chatham Squire remains a fun place to grab a bite or share a drink with friends. They also have live music or DJ many nights a week!
