Team Extreme / FMX MotoCross
Team Extreme FMX/Motocross returns to the Fair on MONDAY, July 21st! Always a fan favorite, these high-flying athletes perform daring and acrobatic tricks in the night sky above the Fair’s arena. Riders from around the country participate in this event at the Fairgrounds. This is a judged competition, with the winning rider receiving points towards their national ranking and a cash prize. Riders will be available for a meet and greet after the race, so stick around! SHOWTIME: 7:00 PM

Josh Thompson
Josh Thompson returns to the Barnstable County Fair for the second time, and we are excited to have him back! This time around, he’s coming in strong with music off his new album Turn It Up, a modern, kickin’ country party album. From the title track “Turn It Up” to the Southern-rocker “You Wanted me Gone” to the popular “Cold Beer With Your Name On It”, this is sure to be a great way to kick off our Main Stage schedule. Demolition Derby
The Demo Derby pits neighbor against neighbor in a twisted metal slugfest until the last man and machine are standing! Always one of the most popular events at the Fair, the demolition derby is unscripted, old-fashioned Fair entertainment. Local radio personalities from Qantum Communications will be providing the play-by-play and color commentary. If you want to participate in the derby, entries are accepted until an hour before it starts. SHOWTIME: 7:30 PM

Cape Cod Summer Star Presented By 106 WCOD
Now in its fourth year, the Cape Cod Summer Star event showcases the best amateur talent from Cape Cod and all of New England on the Fair’s Main Stage! Talented singers compete for a $1,000 cash prize and the chance to be named Cape Cod’s Summer Star. Two years ago, American Idol hopeful Angie Miller was a runner up. This night attracts some serious talent so settle in for a night of great music. SHOWTIME: 7:30 PM

Vertical Horizon
One of the most enduring acts of the 1990s and 2000s, Vertical Horizon is making their first appearance at the Barnstable County Fair. With their hitEverything You Want rising to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2000 and two well-regarded follow-up albums Go and Burning The Days, Vertical Horizon is a creative force cited by msny performers as an influence. Dustin Lynch, one of country music’s up-and-coming stars, hits the Barnstable County Fair Main Stage Saturday, July 26th. With his new single “Where It’s At” starting its journey up the charts, Dustin’s show is sure to be a Fair-stopper. Already well-known for his debut single “Cowboys and Angels” and his 2013 hit “She Cranks My Tractor”, Cape Cod will fall in love with this country star. SHOWTIME: 7:30 PM
