Cape Cod Train to Christmas Town 2014 in Hyannis MA

The Train to Christmas town is a returning  Cape Cod in 2014  from the end of  November to the end of December.   The Christmas train departs from the Hyannis depot and Chamber of Commerce. Classic passenger rail cars are decorated for the holidays. On board the passenger cars are festively decorated for the holidays. The Conductor will welcome everyone aboard and punch each passenger’s train ticket. En route to Christmas Town the book, The Train to Christmas Town, will be read and music from the Train to Christmas Town CD from the Grammy nominated performers Trout Fishing in America will be played. Passengers are served hot chocolate and cookies by our merry elves. Upon arrival at Christmas Town, Santa Claus and elves are visible waving to the train as passengers watch but do not leave train at this portion of the trip. Santa Claus and elves then board the train to the delight of all the children! Elves and characters from the book such as Bumblebee the cuddly polar bear will be in each train car and will entertain passengers and lead them in singing Christmas carols. Santa Claus and the Elves move through each train car, will greet each child, giving them their surprise gift.

5:30 pm and 7:30 pm

 

Ticket prices 

The Event has Regular Pricing and Peak Day Pricing. Peak Day prices are higher per ticket in First and Diamond Classes than Regular Days. Regular days are in November on all days through December 7 and after Christmas. All other departure dates are at Peak Pricing.
STANDARD CLASS: Regular Pricing: Child-$20, Adult-$28, Adult w/ Lap Baby-$28. Peak Day Pricing in Standard Class is the same as Regular Pricing. 
FIRST CLASS:  Regular Pricing First Class: Child-$25, Adult-$33, Adult w/ Lap Baby-$43 Peak Day Pricing First Class: Child-$27, Adult-$35, Adult w/ Lap Baby-$45
DIAMOND CLASS:  Regular Pricing Diamond Class: Child-$27, Adult-$35, Adult w/ Lap Baby-$45 Peak Day Pricing Diamond Class: Child-$30, Adult-$40, Adult w/ Lap Baby-$50
