Barnstable Town Band Summer Concert Series 2015 in Hyannis MA

The Barnstable Town Band is pleased to announce that the  2015 Summer Concert Series starts on Wednesday, July 1, at 7:00 PM and runs through Wednesday, August 26. The concerts are at the town band shell on the green behind town hall in Hyannis .

All concerts are free. There are no seats provided for the audience, but the lawn area in front of the bandstand is open. It is wheelchair accessible and lawn chairs are welcome. The band plays a crowd-pleasing mix of show tunes, pop tunes, classics, marches, etc. It’s a great way for friends and family, four to ninety-four, to spend an evening together. We hope to see you there.

 

The Barnstable Town Band is an independent, town-sponsored, non-profit organization founded in 1953. It has found a permanent home on the Hyannis Town Green in a well-designed band shell donated by the Hyannis Rotary Club. Musicians of all ages perform under the expert and dynamic leadership of conductor Patrick Riley. Each week brings a different concert with a mix of Latin, Swing, Classical, Broadway, and Patriotic tunes.
