The Cape Playhouse in Dennis   is the place to be on Friday mornings this summer. Discover the magic and wonder of live theatre designed especially for children at one of the most historic theatre venues in the country. Each summer, The Cape Playhouse brings you classic tales, zany humor, beloved stories, and lively music. 	Friday, July 29: SteveSongs by Steve Roslonek SteveSongs, known and loved by millions of PBS KIDS viewers throughout the country as “Mr. Steve,” co-host of the PBS KIDS preschool destination (nominated for a KidScreen best children’s television host award), will bring his signature brand of seriously fun (and seriously good) music to The Cape Playhouse. But you haven’t heard anything until you see him perform live. And here’s your chance!
	Friday, August 5:  The Wizard of Oz by Hampstead Stage Company Dorothy thinks she is lost forever when a terrifying tornado crashes through Kansas and whisks her far away to the Land of Oz. With her companions the Tin Woodsman, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion, Dorothy embarks on a strange and enchanting adventure to find her way back home.
	Friday, August 12: Tall Tales: Stories & Songs from Old New England by Puppet Showplace Theater  NEW! Ever wanted to sing along with a sea shanty?  Or dive deep into a fox’s den?  In a whirlwind tour of New England’s lesser-known folklore, you will discover a giant sailor, a fashionable bear, and the world’s largest wheel of cheese.  Drawing from three hundred years of stories, songs, and local history, this show is a delight for audiences of all ages.
	Friday, August 19:  BUBBLE-OLOGY: The Secret World of Bubbles As seen on Discovery Channel’s “Time Warp”, National Geographic TV and on-stage by invitation (twice) at America’s largest science and engineering festival in DC, Keith uses bubbles—large and small—to explain liquids, solids and gasses, geometry, tension and pressure. Keith builds beautiful sculptural creations (massive & miniature) with enthusiasm, humor and style.  One moment he will be encasing a dinosaur in a bubble and in the next moment he’s encapsulating an audience volunteer. Don’t miss this Playhouse favorite!
	Friday, August 26: Johnny Peers & the Muttville Comix  NEW! Johnny Peers & the Muttville Comix is a slapstick comedy act like no other. Johnny leads over a dozen dogs through challenging and hilarious tricks as Johnny plays the straight man role in this wonderful show.
