On Golden Pond Play at Cape Cod Theater Company in Harwich MA

Cape Cod Theatre Company in Harwich  will be performing  On Golden Pond from  September 16 – October 9, 2016   Opening on Friday September 16 and continuing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm  with Sunday matinees at 4pm. Additional Saturday matinees on Oct 1 and 8 at 4pm.

This is the love story of Ethel and Norman Thayer, who are returning to their summer home on Golden Pond for the forty-eighth year. He is a retired professor with heart palpitations and a failing memory, but still as tart-tongued, observant and eager for life as ever. Ethel, the perfect foil for Norman, delights in all the small things that continue to enrich their long life together. They are visited by their divorced, middle-aged daughter and her dentist fiancé, who then go off to Europe, leaving his teenage son behind for the summer. As humorous as it is heartwarming, On Golden Pond will leave audiences enraptured.
