IN THE PAST YOU HAD A HAUNTED HOUSE – IS IT STILL THERE? I’M CONFUSED!

Yes, there has been a haunted house on the farm for about 15 years, but due to a change in building codes, we are no longer able to open it to the public. It is not financially feasible to bring it up to code, so instead we have re-vamped the event to a wonderful, haunted hayride which includes a ride on a tram (pulled by a tractor) plus a haunted walk in the woods. Please note that the event involves walking in dimly lit areasso you should be able-bodied and dressed appropriately!

WHAT TIME DOES IT START? WHAT TIME DOES IT END?

We start selling tickets at 6:30 pm, and continue selling tickets until 9:00 pm. The tram will continue until ticketed guests have enjoyed the event.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET IN?

Admission is $13 for everyone, regardless of age. There are no refunds.

DO WE NEED TO BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE?

No, tickets are available for purchase at the event.

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS OR CHECKS?

Checks are accepted and should be made payable to “The Harvest of Horrors”. Sorry, we do not accept credit cards.

HOW LONG DOES THE HAYRIDE LAST?

The hayride plus the the haunted trail in the woods takes approximately 25 minutes.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN THE TRAM HOLD?

Approximately 25-28 people.

HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT?

The wait time can vary greatly, and in some instances can be substantial (over an hour) depending on the crowd. Those of you who have visited other haunted events in other areas know that long wait times are typical and expected, due to the nature of the event itself.

WHAT AGE GROUP IS THIS APPROPRIATE FOR?

Our haunted hayride is appropriate for adults, teens, and children 10 or older. There is no set minimum age limit, however. Some younger children really like it, and other children the same age are too scared to go in. Parents should use their own discretion. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. For activities at the farm for children 10 or under, please visit halloweenkidsfest.com

ARE THERE ANY WARNINGS I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?

During the ride, the group will be dropped off to walk a dimly lit trail in the woods. It is important to be physically able to do this, plus remember to wear appropriate footwear!
