This was an awesome seal tour. This was our first seal watch trip. Captain Rob was great. He knows the water like the back of his hand. Excellent narrator. We saw alot of seals. We even saw a seal eating a small shark, it was so cool. This tour was good for both families and couples. I would not recommend small children, not younger than 3. Because the boat moves very quickly at times, you must stay seated. There was a child on the boat around age 2, the mother had a difficult time keeping her seated. All in all, I highly recommend this tour. Make sure you tip the Captain at the end.

Captain Philip was very informative and guided us on a great trip. We saw a lot of things and enjoyed it tremendously. Highly recommend it!!!

Blue Claw Boats Tours is the best on the cape!
We have done seal tours, private tours and the the sunset cruise and will keep coming back again and again. Captain Rob is always fun! Pointing out local history and stories. He is so knowledgeable. Cathy is always so helpful with booking! Every time we bring friends to the cape we take them with us on a blue claw tour! Highly recommend and so fun for all ages!

This was one of my favorite tours on the cape, and I’ve been coming here for years! The Captain (Jeff) was so knowledgeable; we learned about the history of the cape as well as the seals. He shared how the cape was formed by glaciers, where the Native American peoples
lived and who they were. He had some great stories about a German submarine and a tug boat, all tied to the cape.  He brought us to a spot where the seals were piled up on top of each other. I have never seen anything like it. There were seals!E VERYWHERE!! They were loud, and definitely saw us while we watched. We were able to get pretty close without disturbing them. Our Captain (Jeff) also took us to the fishing cooperative and showed us the Coast Guard boats. He knew all about the islands and houses along the river and the rest of the trip. It was such a great trip!! The boat was comfortable for the group we had- these boats take smaller groups (Less than 20, not sure of the exact number they hold). The trip was just under 2 hours, so good for kids and teenagers alike. Bring a sweatshirt- even when it’s warm the boat gets chilly when you’re going at a nice clip (maybe 30 mph).
