Woods Hole Film Festival 2017

The 26th Annual Woods Hole Film Festival will take place   Saturday, July 29th 2017  to Saturday, August 5, 2017. The Woods Hole Film Festival is dedicated to presenting the best independent film from emerging filmmakers. Each summer over 8 days, the Festival will present over 130 films from around the world in the quaint village of Woods Hole and Falmouth. Filmmakers and patrons alike come to Woods Hole from around the world to see great films, meet interesting filmmakers, support our sponsors and bask in the best of summertime on Cape Cod.

Mary Poppins the Musical at Chatham Drama Guild

Mary Poppins The Musical will be performed by the Chatham  Drama Guild  from Thursday July 13th to Sunday August 6th.

And It’s Going To Be SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPLIALIDOCIOUS!  It’s a ‘ practically perfect’ experience for the  entire family with even more music than the movie!   Be sure to bring your camera to take photos  with Mary after the show!

Back by popular demand, one of HJT’s most beloved productions returns to the stage with a brilliant version of E.B. White’s American classic adapted by Joseph Robinette. Meet Wilbur, an endearing piglet in grave danger of ending up as pork chops, and Charlotte, the wise and winsome spider who becomes his true friend. Get caught up in Charlotte’s Web as we spin this timeless story on the stage!

Chatham Town Band Free Friday Night Concerts 2017

The Chatham Town Band   2016 Season begins on July 30th  and runs every Friday Night through Labor Day weekend  September 1st    Join in this Cape Cod Tradition since the 1940s!
Concerts begin at 8:00 PM and last approximately an hour and a half.


FREE Concerts are held outdoors at Kate Gould Park just behind The Wayside Inn, 512 Main Street, Chatham
Though it “Never Rains” on Summer Friday Nights in Chatham, concerts may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on, snacks, and plenty of bug spray!  Grab some dinner at one of the local Chatham restaurant before hand

Free Concerts at the Bandstand at Mashpee Commons 2017

Mashpee Commons will be hosting free summer and early fall concerts at the bandstand.  . The only thing you will need to bring is your own beach chairs or blankets. Snacks will be available for purchase from pop-up vendors during some events. Check out the schedule below, and be sure to mark your calendars for some of these fabulous

Cape Cod Canal Concerts 2017 in Buzzard Bay MA

The Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce has scheduled another exciting year for the popular “Eastern Bank Concerts by the Canal” series. The 2017 concerts are held at  Bourne Community Serues  each Thursday evening during July and August from 6:30 p.m – 8:30 p.m., right along the banks of the Canal near the base of the Bourne Railroad Bridge.

Parking is free after 6 p.m. at the Temple Lot on Union Ave. Always free parking at Hynes Field on the corner of 10th St. and Onset Ave. Handicapped parking available onsite and at the Onset Pier. Pay parking at Onset Pier until 10 p.m. Please do not park on the grass at the Bandshell!

In case of rain, we never cancel a show, we simply re-locate to the Onset VFW Post #2846 Pavilion located at 4 Gibbs Ball Park Rd in East Wareham (for GPS). It’s one mile from the center of Onset off of Onset Ave. This is an open air-pavilion with seating for several hundred. All are welcome! Kids, too! The Harwich Town Band is one of the oldest and proudest volunteer concert bands on Cape Cod. Founded in 1975, the Band has brought enjoyment to thousands of Cape residents and summer visitors through free weekly concerts at Brooks Park.

Conducted by Peter H. Cobb, the Band performs a varied program of musical selections including marches, Broadway show tunes, popular songs, jazz, swing, big band, patriotic and light band classics. A favorite part of each performance is the march-around (for children of all ages), with plenty of colorful hats available for marchers!
