Sandwich Women’s Club Touch a Truck 2017

The Sandwich Women’s club will be hosting 18thh Annual Touch-A-Truck Fundraiser is scheduled for Sunday, June 4th   at Sandwich High School from 10am-2pm.   Sandwich Women's Club Touch a Truck 2017

There will be 50 unique trucks and vehicles to the Sandwich High School parking lot, so kids and their parents will be able to get up close, touch, and learn about each of the functions of the vehicles.

Enjoy the Children’s Fair with face painting, balloon art, animal displays, and other activities. Last year, the event drew nearly 1,000 children and their families!

 

Admission is $5.00 per kid, Adults are free

TRUCKS AND VEHICLES: This year’s participants will include construction equipment, emergency vehicles, a school bus, the book mobile, and a “Roamin’ Railroad” to tour the entire event, among many, many more.

CHILDREN’S FAIR: Fair will feature face painting, live animals, music and dance performances, a candy drop, and more!

TRUCK STOP CAFÉ: Enjoy a moment to sit down for lunch, snacks and beverages, all available to purchase at our infamous “Truck Stop Cafe.”

 

The Sandwich Women’s Club is a non-profit, volunteer organization and a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. All proceeds from this event will benefit education and literacy programs in Sandwich, as well as women and children in need on Cape Cod and the Islands.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a musical with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The story is based on the “coat of many colors” story of Joseph from the Bible’s Book of Genesis.

The 30th annual Brewster in Bloom is Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7th which is the town’s Brewster’s spring daffodil celebration.

The Santas are Coming! The 14th Annual Northeast Santa Gathering on Cape Cod will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Featuring over sixty Santas – along with Mrs. Claus & Santa’s helpers – this is one festive weekend celebration you don’t want to miss. Emerald 3-D will be on hand all day to take 3 Dimensional photographs.

Falmouth Village Blooming Spring Festival 2017

Join us in welcoming spring back to Falmouth Village! For the first two weeks in May, Falmouth Village blooms with May baskets, May poles, plant sales and an unbelievable kids day! We are open all day during the week, so kids can stay here, and we have some additional feild trips available on a separate basis. The trips fill up fast and all have a different fee depending on the cost to take the kids on it.

The Hundred Acre School February Vacation Program Heritage Museums & Gardens, Sandwich

The Hundred Acre School at Heritage Museums & Gardens invites children ages 4 to 8 to participate in STEM-focused vacation week programs. During this session, students will explore how to use STEM tools for investigative purposes. Children will use the scientific method to design their own investigations, and learn how to select tools that will be most successful for answering their questions related to their hypotheses. Daily adventures outside in all types of weather add to the excitement of our day. The result will be lots of hands-on FUN!
