Message from Wellfleet police about 2026
A new opportunity arises! Due to water main construction in the area of the Wellfleet Drive-In, we’ve made the bittersweet decision to postpone Touch A Truck this year. The Drive-In has graciously hosted us in the past, and we know they’re just as eager as we are for the event’s return.
Wellfleet Police Department and the Eastham Police Department will be hosting a touch a truck on Sunday May 4th 2025 from 10am-2pm at the Wellfleet Drive in. Bring the kids to this fun weekend event.
This event will be free to attend, but we will be accepting donations for our local schools and for our police association so that we can continue to put on events like this.
See trucks, equipment, helicopters, and emergency vehicles of all kind! Expect to see flyovers, a K9 demonstration, and the opportunity to dunk first responders in a dunk tank!
There will be food trucks and activities for all. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from food trucks from all over Cape Cod.
