Barnstable Village’s Haunted & History Walking Tour Fridays and Mondays Join founder, Derek Bartlett tonight, as your tour guide for Barnstable Village’s Ghost Hunters Tour at 7pm. He will bring you down The King’s Road and stop at locations such as The Barnstable House that has a nickname The House of 11 Ghosts, The Hedge House and many, many more locations. You will enter Cobb’s Hill Cemetery and listen to the stories and then be handed a digital voice recorder and he will teach you how to collect EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon/voices of the dead) where you then will walk the cemetery to try to capture evidence yourself. You will then be brought into The Oldest Wooden Jail in America, that is actively haunted. The village has over 6 children entities that haunt locations throughout our tour. Wicked at Wicks: A Children’s Halloween Celebration at the Falmouth Museums on the Green 4-5:30pm . Please pre-register. Come down to the Falmouth Museums on the Green for a fun family Halloween event. The event will include trick-or-treating at several historic properties on our campus including the 1790 Dr. Francis Wicks House, pumpkin painting, storytelling, and a costume parade. Spooky Halloween Bash! Presented by Falmouth Public Library 3pm
Following the Falmouth Village Association’s Halloween Stroll on Falmouth Main Street (1-3 PM on 10/25/22025), the Falmouth Public Library Main Branch will be hosting a Spooky Party from 3 PM – 6:30 PM. I know I never want the spooky season days to end, so finish your Halloween Stroll at the Main Branch of Falmouth Public Library (300 Main Street, Falmouth)! Everything is free and there is no registration required, just come in to Falmouth Public Library Main Branch and strap in for some spooky fun! The Spooky Party is for all ages and will run from 3:00 – 6:30 PM. We will have pumpkin carving, games, crafts and friendly competitions like who can eat the whole donut hanging off a string! There will also be plenty of snacks and apple cider (in all sorts of forms! Donuts, warm drinks and whatever else we can think of!) The party will be held on the first floor of the library. These activities will be running and rocking for the duration of the party!
THEN at 4 PM during the spooky party, a “Tour of Halloween around the World” will be held in the Hermann Meeting room. The Hermann room will turn into a maze guided tour where you will learn about how different cultures (like Mexican, Brazilian, and Ancient Egypt) celebrate spooky season. There may be a few ghosts that find their way into the maze, so get ready for some ghost hunting along the way.

Free for all to attend but a canned good or box of stuffing donation for Thanksgiving would be great. Harwich Library Halloween Parade Oct 31 at 10:30 the Brooks Free Library and Harwich Town Hall will participate in our annual Halloween Parade for young children! A Halloween themed storytime at the library at 10:30 will be followed by a short parade over to the Town Hall where the children can trick or treat among the Town Hall offices! This free event is a great way to introduce trick or treating to the very young, and to show off the cute costumes!
Brewster Library 1030am Come in costume and join us for our annual Halloween parade! We will meet at the Library at 10:30 am. From there, we march to the Brewster General Store for treats and songs.
