Day 118 Bottom of the Sky play at Cape Rep theater in Brewster MA

The Cape Rep Theater  presents the world premiere of The Bottom of the Sky by local playwright Art Devine  at their indoor main stage theater in Brewster.

In this compelling story of female aviators set in the United States between the World Wars, Art explores themes of race and gender with a smart, independent, and passionate protagonist, who “just wants to fly,” challenging us to think about our country in a new way, through a tale that is provocative, funny, and wholly original.

Performances are through June 3, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm and Wednesday May 30th at 7 pm.  Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online

All are welcomed  to attend an Interview with Playwright Art Devine by Bob Seay, Morning Edition host WGBH 89.7 radio, and a talk back after Sunday, May 27th’s matinee.
