Day 159 Barnstable County festival and Cape Cod Brew Festival 2012 in East Falmouth MA

Come celebrate the start of the fall holiday season at the annual Barnstable County Harvest Festival  the weekend of September 29-30 2012 . On that weekend, the county fairgrounds on Rte. 151 in East Falmouth will transform into an autumn garden of festivities and family fun.

“Fall on Cape Cod is a time for welcoming crisp weather, celebrating the harvest and planning for the holidays/ The festival will include live musical  entertainment by local bands, a marketplace of local farmers and crafters, pony rides, hayrides and much more, all between the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Admission is $5; kids 8 and younger will be admitted at no cost. Parking is free.

This year, in the spirit of Oktoberfest, the Harvest Festival presents the Inaugural Cape Cod Brew Festival.  This celebration of American Craft Breweries will feature 30 brewers and over 60 styles of beer to sample. The event will have two, three-hour sessions from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m and 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Each session will feature live music.

The Cape Cod Brew Fest is a 21+ event.
