Bud’s Go-Karts is a Cape Cod institution in terms of kid-friendly attractions located in Harwich . While it may not be as fancy as other go-kart tracks in the area, Bud’s Go-Karts is a tried and true outlet for amusement that has entertained countless families for decades on end, ever since its opening day in the year 1960.

At just $8.00 for a six-minute ride around its lengthy track, you can’t go wrong with this no-frills attraction. Additionally, the go-karts at Bud’s in Harwich run at a speed that’s fun but manageable, meaning your kids will be able to control their karts and have a great time doing it.

Here is the buzz on Bud’s Go-Karts

I have been coming to Buds since the 70’s and it never disappoints!!! It’s fun for young and old alike!! It’s one of those places you don’t mind being frozen in time!!!

We have been going to the Go Karts for years….when we were younger and now with our kids. Nothing has changed which is nostalgic for us. The cars are always in the sun and the seats are a black vinyl so if you have kids or are wearing shorts bring a towel to sit on so you don’t burn your rear.

You can feel the heart and soul put into this family business. It’s honest and so much fun. Yes the track is just an oval and the cars don’t go really fast. But that’s what makes it fun! All the cars are equal so the driving shines through. You’re not worried about speed or brakes, just pinning it the whole time and making sure you pick the right line!! $7 for about 10 minutes was great value.

$7 per ride you get to drive a go cart around a pave track for about 10 minutes. Younger kids must ride in a two seater with an adult. They have age and height restrictions for children to drive on their own. I know my grandchildren love to do this even if it’s entertainment value is limited in my view.

This place is exactly the same as when I was a kid 30 years ago. There is a go cart track, no more, no less. It’s good fun and amusing to watch others go while you wait in line. Tickets were $7 pp in June 2018. Good for a day when you are not into going to the beach.

Head to the local ice cream shop Sundae School Harwich Port for a treat after you ride!
