Day 280 Nauset Model Railroad Club Holiday Open House 2013 in Orleans MA

The Nauset Model Railroad Club will be holding it annual Holiday open house on Saturday  afternoon. between Thanksgiving and New years Day.

Come see the model trains dashing through 2,000 square feet of urban and mountain scenery on five different scale layouts. Beginning its 25th year, the Nauset Model Railroad Club is excited to welcome visitors to its holiday Open House events on Saturdays, 1-4 p.m., November 30 and December 7, 14, 21 and 28. There’s fun for the whole family! Admission is FREE. The club is located in the rear lower level of Hilltop Plaza, 180 Route 6A in Orleans.

“The Nauset Model Railroad Club, a non-profit organization, was  formed in December of 1989 by a group of train enthusiasts on the  Lower Cape.  Their common interest was railroading and model  railroading in particular.  Today’s members are a mix of very active  collectors with train layouts, and others who just enjoy talking and  learning about trains.
