Day 316 Wampanoag Traditions Celebration 2014 in Eastham MA

The Cape Cod National Seashore will host a celebration of Wampanoag Native American  culture on Saturday, May 31st 2014  from 10am-2:30pm  at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham MA. this is  free event for the entire family.

 

The event features five craftsmen and artists from the Aquinnah and Mashpee tribes demonstrating and discussing their traditional skills and techniques. The demonstrations will be held between 10am and 12:30pm.

There will be traditional games and other activities for families and children.

At 1:30pm there will be a performance by the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers.

The event is sponsored by Eastern National, the CCNS education partner.
