First Night in Sandwich New Years Eve 2014-2015

First Night in Sandwich will be held on Wednesday  December 31st  New Year Eve.    It will be a great place to celebrate New Years Eve on Cape Cod.  Bringing the arts to everyone-from music to dance, and all the wonderful art and artists we have right here in our midst~~Come one come all and join us and have a grand time in the Village of Sandwich.

This year’s theme “Town of the Giant’s” honor’s Michael Magyar of the Glass Studio of Cape Cod’s giant sculptures. This is the year to tell all that Sandwich is the “Town of Giants” and showcase this fantastic spectacle that is exclusive to the oldest town on Cape Cod.   First Night Sandwich is a non-alcoholic Family Festival of multi-cultural activities including hands –on activities for children, musical presentations and exciting live performances in venues located both inside and outdoors in Sandwich Village. Food will be available through-out the village at some of the many different venues. A Revelers Parade of Giants, music, bioluminescence bicycles, horses and much more will wind down Main Street at 8 pm. A Grand Finale Countdown extravaganza will occur on the shore of Shawme Pond at 9 pm. The event will end this incredible year of the 375 Celebration in grand style with First Night Sandwich 2015!
