Greek Dance

Dancing has traditionally been one of the most ancient forms of community entertainment and, indeed, has been true throughout the history of the Greeks even as it is today. As to the ancient Greeks, the dance was a social activity in the truest sense of the word. Anyone who has the good fortune to observe Greeks dancing, or better yet, to dance with them cannot help but understand that they are still thoroughly enjoying themselves.

The young people of St. George’s Dance Troupe keep the tradition of Greek dance alive for our beautiful Cape Cod community.

Our dancers will be dancing once again at this year’s fest. So watch, enjoy and then join in on the dancing as Ta Pethia takes to the stage.
