We went because it was a beautiful evening (finally!) and we wanted to go somewhere with a view.
We got there at 5:00 – bar area was already full and buzzing. Saw a lot of local friends there, also coming out in the good weather. We were meeting another couple and were seated in the back dining area by a really nice and attentive host. The view (as always) can’t be beat!  All of a sudden the place filled up, the waiter was truly amazing. No wait on the drinks, the food or the attention.  AND the food was amazing! The freshest fish and steamers. Everything was absolutely delicious! Also, there’s a fun drink menu.  I’m still in awe at the staff, including the cooks- great job by all.

The food, atmosphere and food was great. It was a very comfortable and scenic atmosphere. I would definitely go back. The service was also excellent.

Really enjoyed Sundancer’s. Stopped by for a couple Lobster rolls, and could not have been happier. Lobster roll was awesome and at a great price. Both the owner and lady who provided the take out were very welcoming and pleasant people to talk to. My wife and I will definitely be back to sit on the patio and enjoy another lobster roll.

 

Yes it can be a little loud but it is a fun atmosphere. Try their chowder delicious. The shrimp cocktail was one of the best we have had. The sunsets beautiful! The staff very friendly 

We had difficultly finding a highly recommended restaurant in the area that was open on a Monday and in the early part of the season so we went here. I had the swordfish special and my husband had the baked cod. Both peals were excellent. Prices were reasonable. We sat a long time so we could watch sunset. Staff and owner were attentive and friendly. It was a lovely evening.

A great place on Bass River that is hard to beat!! Great local seafood and drinks make this a fun spot to be!! The view of the water and outdoor deck with boat dock works perfect for bringing boat here! Service was great too!! Look forward to coming back again and again!!! Enjoy!!!

Went here for lunch with a girlfriend and then dinner a few weeks later with the husband. For lunch we had the scallop and bacon wrap and the cheesesteak sandwich. Both meals were delicious. We had a wonderful server who was very attentive and personable (Wish I had gotten her name). For our dinner visit, my husband had fish tacos and I had the short rib tacos. The short rib tacos were TO DIE FOR! Very tender and juicy beef and instead of the traditional soft shell they were served on small Naan bread. Nice twist on a traditional meal. We ate at the bar and the service was great

after 90 minutes of kayaking on Bass river we saw the inviting Samuel Adams umbrellas on SunDancer’s riverside deck and the temptation was impossible to resist. So we just hobbled along for a beer but the staff were friendly and we ended up eating up as well

We enjoyed a great dinner on the deck overlooking the Bass River. The drinks and food were all delicious, starting off with calamari and wonderful seafood stuffed mushroom caps. The fried scallops were done just right with adequate breading, the seafood medley dish was loaded with 4 different types of seafood. We ended our fun evening with drinks and dancing to the band inside.

Had a great lunch with great friends at Sundancer’s  on the last Saturday in July. We sat in the bright and airy dining room, down a few steps from the bar area, looking out onto their deck and an inlet from Bass River. Both men had Seafood Medleys  and both women had Cobb Chicken Salads.   All meals were great, generous portions, well prepared and nutritious. I traded one of my scallops for a piece of chicken.  our Waiter  upped the joy level of our gathering of friends with his great personality, great service and great hustle. We had had a choice of tables when we came in but the place was packed by the time we left. Parking can be tight here; however, there is a public boat ramp next door and a park a bit further with a few spaces in each

Sundancers is a fun place for great food, drinks, and dancing. The bar and wait staff were super attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to be sure all guests were happy. Special shoutout to our waiter for taking such awesome care of our group. I will definitely be back!

Loved it here! Amazing staff, great food, great prices! We were looking for a family friendly place for a decent price and found this gem in the Cape Cod guide for kids. The waiter checked in frequently and the food didn’t take forever to come out, which is a lifesaver with tired and hungry children at the end of the day. It was honestly the best food we had on our trip and the best chowder by far. Will definitely be back on our next vacation!
