Our extensive menu boasts local seafood, mouth-watering steaks, a wide array of appetizers, raw bar, daily specials, pizza and their signature chowder and lobster roll. At the bar they serve hand-crafted cocktails, have 12 beers on tap, and extensive wine list. The Captain Kidd is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

Great food and great service in an awesome old school bar & restaurant. Some great views also. We highly recommend it if you happen to be in the area!

My go to spot every summer for cold brews and water views!

A delayed and diverted ferry led us to find this cozy spot to warm up. The atmosphere was fun, not stuffy. The service was beyond excellent. They made us feel like the only customers there. Quahog fritters were new for us and now we know why they’re a local favorite and I would have licked my lobster and corn bisque soup bowl if I knew no one would see me. You won’t be disappointed!

The food was exceptional I had the shrimp scampi and it was perfect. Seasoning was just right. The shrimp were very fresh and juicy. but the best part was Gabby the waitress she was soo soo nice and kind. She made sure everything was on point and timely. She explained the dishes on the menu perfectly and knew everything. Wish more waitresses were like her.

I have been visiting the Cape as a permanent “visitor” for many years. I try every seafood platter wherever I go and Captain Kidd was by far the best! The service was pub like but who cares! It’s about the FOOD! And it was great! We took home salads and chowder for lunch the next day . The wait for the ocean view room with a nice gas stove was well worth it! The people behind the scenes (I snooped) work their butts off! If you can appreciate attributes that go un-noticed then you should visit the Captain Kidd in Woods Hole!!

Went in for a late dinner server was great. The Chowder was spot on and the entree’s came out almost perfect. For a late night on a Sunday the whole place ran like a well oiled machine! Thanks again!
