Wareham Oyster Festival 2025

The    annual Wareham Oyster Festival will be held on Sunday  May 24 2025   over Memorial Day weekend. The free festival runs from 2-6pm at Bessie Park on Main  ST   Celebration of music, crafts, food, and of course some of the best shellfish on the east coast.   This is a different organizing team from previous year and maybe a bit different

Get ready for a fun-filled day with 100+ vendors, featuring everything from Warren’s Harborview Oysters and fresh seafood to sweet iced cream treats! Enjoy a variety of food trucks, sip on drinks from The Bartending Service of New England, and groove to live music throughout the day. Admission is free, and there’s plenty for the kids too—face painting, henna tattoos, and a visit from “Salty” the Oyster Mascot! It’s a perfect outing for families, foodies, and anyone looking to enjoy a vibrant local event.

Getting Here
Wareham is easily accessible via I-195 from the west (take Exit 21 and go south on Route 28), I-495 from the north or east (take Exit 1 to I-195 and get off immediately at the Route 28 exit) or Route 25 from Cape Cod (take Exit 2 and bear right onto Glen Charlie Road, then bear right onto Route 6 and continue to downtown Wareham). Plug “83 Main Street, Wareham” into your GPS and it should take you right to our information tent, where you can buy yourself a snappy new Wareham Oyster Festival hat!
