Lobster Trap was founded in 1969 as a neighborhood fish market and restaurant on the Back River in the Monument Beach section of Bourne. My mom picked her favorite restaurant to celebrate her 81st Birthday & as usual the Lobster Trap didn’t disappoint. I think we tried every appetizer on the menu, Crab Rangoon’s, Beef stix, Calamari, Crab Cakes to the raw bar Seafood Boat which featured my favorite the Tuna Tartare… honestly everything was delicious! Believe it or not we had room for our entrees and those were all equally outstanding… I personally had the Swordfish in which was cooked perfect! Mom has a sweet tooth and saved room for dessert in which she said both selections was delicious and shared with the table! Kudos to the Delancey brothers and staff for helping to make my Mom’s Birthday a special evening out with family & friends! If you haven’t been here before you are missing out…
Came here with my fiancé and 1 year old boy tonight and we were wowed. I’ve been before so I knew the quality of food was excellent, but throw live music and a wonderful waiter (Sean) and I think it was the best dining experience I’ve had on Cape in a long time. Perfection from menu options and pricing to landscaping and views, valet attendants to waitstaff. Thank you!
My boyfriend and a couple friends took a hour and a half motorcycle ride just to come here for dinner. I was a little disappointed when the hostess said it was going to be an hour and a half wait as well.. but we were seated exactly where we requested within 45 minutes! The drinks, food, and our waitress were all great. I couldn’t have been happier with how that evening turned out!
The food was delicious and came out in a timely fashion, there was a wait but that’s because it was great. The service was very good especially considering how busy it was. Our waitress was great, I can’t remember her name but she grew up a mile from the restaurant. We will be back.
