Cotuit Center for the Arts presents “How to Talk to Fairies,” during school vacation week, February 18, 19, and 20, at 11 AM on the main stage. “How to Talk to Fairies” is a mystical, immersive multimedia performance with dance, puppetry, and live music. The show is 75 minutes long and appropriate for children ages 4 and up.

Join Dream Tale Puppets for a joyous romp through the classic tale of poor Jack, the cow, and the magic beans. The show is created in a Story and Puppet Time format where one performer provides narration and gives voices to the characters and a second performer operates hand puppets, figure puppets, and a marionette, and performs in mask. Jack, his mother, and their cow come to life through Jacek Zuzanski’s comical movements and Robert Bock’s lively voice accompaniment. Recommended for ages 3 and up. $5 children / $10 Adults

The Hundred Acre School at Heritage Museums & Gardens invites children ages 4 to 8 to participate in STEM-focused vacation week programs. During this session, students will explore how to use STEM tools for investigative purposes. Children will use the scientific method to design their own investigations, and learn how to select tools that will be most successful for answering their questions related to their hypotheses. Daily adventures outside in all types of weather add to the excitement of our day. The result will be lots of hands-on FUN!
