The Lure which is located directly on the beach is the perfect spot to relax after a day enjoying what New Seabury  section of  Mashpee has to offer.

For 2023 season The Lure is open to Members and their guests. No public access.

Hours of Operation:

Monday – Thursday 5pm – Close

Friday – Sunday 12pm -Close

 

The Lure Raw Bar!. Relax and unwind with a cold beverage in hand, sharing a bucket of steamers or snacking on oysters on the half shell. All while you capture the breathtaking views of Nantucket Sound. Whether you’re inside or out on our ocean front deck bar, you will surely enjoy the libations, nightly entertainment and fresh seafood the Lure has to offer.

Nothing like it on the Cape…probably anywhere. It’s all we get, but maybe the clam chowder too. Never gone away hungry splitting one of those bad boys! Great beers on tap to wash down.

went to the Lure for early dinner with my family; lobster roll, chicken sandwich, burger, and shrimp cocktail were Amazing; also the Sangria was great. Spectacular views

The Lure at Popponesset is a wonderful place to relax, have a drink, take in the ocean view…and enjoy some great food! Awesome waitress and fun patrons…cannot wait to return!

Went over the weekend to The Lure, Spectacular place, Amazing views, Great Cocktails, Service and Food. The steam lobster was fantastic , also the house made Pedro’s Sangria. A hidden paradise.

Best lobster roll ever  This place is a must. Share a picnic table outside and meet new friends. We ordered the lobster roll, stuffed quahog, and steamers. Full bar also. Try a cherry bomb – it’s a cherry soaked in 151 rum.

Amazing View!  The Lure has an amazing location with beautiful views of the dunes and ocean. this is a great place to enjoy a drink and watch the waves. the raw bar serves up some fantastic oysters and clams as well as an excellent chowder.
