Cape Rep Outdoor theatre will be performing The Fantastical House of Maya Mouse Wednesdays & Thursdays at 10 am from July 7th to September 2nd 2021 A one hour show for children If it rains, we go indoors!
A brand new play for children written and directed by local playwright Holly Erin McCarthy (The Epic Adventure of Lulu’s Lemonade Stand, Lulu & Mona vs the Minotaur, Snow White & Rose Red) featuring her new character, Maya Mouse, in an imaginative noise-filled adventure.
It’s beach day at the Mouse House – but Maya Mouse would rather stay at home and watch movies! While her brother and sister get ready to leave the house, Maya tries to sneak in just one more movie. But what happens when you can’t turn the movies off?! Maya, along with her sidekick Lieutenant Whiskers, finds her entire house plunged into a cinematic universe, filled with gigantic – and noisy! – obstacles and foes! Be they Aliens or Fart Monsters, Maya Mouse will battle them all with dignity and grace (and rubber chickens!) Will Maya’s family ever make it to the beach, or will Maya be mousetrapped in this movie house forever?!
