Centerville Old Home Week 2023

Old Home Week has returned to Centerville with all your old favorite activities and a few new ones thrown in.  Thank you to the  Centerville Civic Association for organizing all of these events

A weeklong series of events to celebrate our community

Centerville is one of the seven villages in the Town of Barnstable, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. Located on the South Side of Barnstable, Centerville is primarily residential, and includes a small business district as well as several notable beaches.

August 7-12, 2023

First started in 1904, this is the traditional weeklong celebration of Centerville. Each day features a different event designed to foster community, welcome guests, and celebrate with our neighbors. Many events are free although donations to the Families in Need Fund are welcomed. Visit this space for updates on the daily schedule.

MONDAY, AUGUST 7th

Join us for this rain or shine event to make your own ice cream sundae and enjoy some great children activities

TUESDAY, AUGUST 8th
6:00pm – 7:00pm Strawberry Shortcake Social

7:00pm – 8:30pm Annual Meeting
Centerville Library Community Room
Following the strawberry shortcake social, Barnstable Town Manager, Mark Ells, Barnstable Police Chief, Matthew Sonnabend, and COMM Fire Chief, Michael Winn will provide an update on recent developments in the village of Centerville and greater Town of Barnstable.

Hyannis Sound presented by the Centerville Civic Association
Our Lady of Victory 230 S. Main Street Centerville
The Hyannis Sound, an acapella group, has been a Cape Cod tradition for over 25 years. The Centerville Civic Association is pleased to welcome them back to Our Lady of Victory in 2023. Tickets are $15; Students $10.

Centerville Public Library
Reinstein has been a reporter for Boston’s WCVB-TV’s “Chronicle,” the nation’s longest-running locally-produced nightly-newsmagazine. Registration recommended.

Again, we welcome the Moonlighters, a band with the reputation for playing the best in R&B,Soul, Rock, Classical and Blues. Bring a picnic and join us for the traditional bonfire for all to see and enjoy!
