Four Seas Ice Cream in Centerville has been serving the finest homemade ice cream since 1934 on Cape Cod.  In the past, it has been voted number seven on the list of Top 10 Ice Cream Parlors in the United States  The 4 seas refers to the 4 bodies of water surrounding the Cape: the Atlantic Ocean, Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod Bay, and Nantucket Sound.

This ice cream shop located just 1/4 mile from a Cape Beach.   The building  is  old blacksmith shop-turned-ice-cream-store is a fantastic place to take the kids for ice cream.

Visitors can take a cone to go or sit on stools at the counter in our dining room enjoying old-fashioned ice cream sundaes, sodas, frappes (the New England word for “milkshake”- a real milkshake is just milk with syrup, shaken) and other sweet treats.

Four Seas specializes in flavors that harken back to the good old days but are just as delicious as ever – and they’re always made with the freshest ingredients and local fruits.

Old fashion style tastes and service that harken back childhood memories of going out for that late night treat on vacation with the family.  Can get buggy at night if you eat out front, so spray up before you go in to order.  I’ve found getting a two scoop bowl – after concocting the perfect flavor mixology combination – a great dessert as the summer sun is going down.

Always a delight when coming during our vacation ! We have been here a few times over the years and I always get excited for their delicious ice cream. They didn’t disappoint and we can’t wait to go back someday.

Since I first tasted Four Seas ice cream years ago I have never found a better ice cream. We stopped when leaving the Cape yesterday for cones and a pint. The same wonderful flavor and creaminess.

We stopped at Four Seas  3 times during a 5 day stay  on Cape Cod in Centerville . Lots of great flavors, friendly staff. they have a weekly flavor and keep the list posted. Try the cantaloupe ice cream-delicious!

Loved the ice cream at this small shop. We each had a cone – one chocolate Almond and one Coconut! It’s a very popular place for families.

Four seas Ice Cream is a must stop if you are ever in this area. I had a Chocolate Frappe and it was amazing. Their Ice Cream is simply the best ice cream I have ever had.
